The US justice department has decided not to bring charges against two white police officers involved in the 2016 fatal shooting of a black man Alton Sterling in Louisiana last summer.

The decision, according to multiple media reports, comes despite the incident being caught on video by eyewitnesses.

It has been 10 months since graphic video showed police in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, shoot and kill Alton Sterling, a man known for selling CDs outside of the store where he was killed.
