London recording artist Hannah Lucia returns to the scene with a new single titled “Your Love” her forthcoming EP Axiom. In the new track, Hannah Lucia is defining the feeling of falling in love. You bounce between sleeplessness, loss of appetite, trembling, a racing heart and accelerated breathing, as well as anxiety, and feelings of despair when your relationship suffers even the smallest setback. These mood swings parallel the behavior of drug addicts.
“It is about the early optimism of falling in love, Those emotions are more powerful than any drug or vice. You are so captivated by the other person that everything seems possible. To feel that deeply you need to be willing to risk everything and accept that whatever happens is out of your control.”
The EP is named Axiom after Hannah Lucia discovered that her own mother had written it next to a photograph of her as a young child. Meaning a proposition that is self-evidently true, Hannah rightly saw that as a fitting title for her first collection of works.
