Not long after the Hot Boyz caught his attention as a pre-teen in the formative days of the Ca$h Money empire, fast-rising recording artist Hollywood YC began developing his own artistry with a fiery passion. With over a decade honing his craft as an MC, the Bankhead, Atlanta native has long been a student of the rap game, despite only pursuing his music career in a serious capacity for the past couple of years. After getting his start as part of the StackMoneyBoyz (SMB), alongside BabyyChris and Yung Trey, YC has since gone on to work with Rich Homie Quan, Migos, K Camp and more.
After making his debut as a solo artist with 2016’s Hollywood Ave, YC’s continues to deliver the work as he unveils a new visual that will be found on the release of the follow-up mixtape, Hollywood Ave 2.0. Hollywood YC’s newest release — the official music video for “Summer” — finds the Atlanta native crafting a deliberate flow on top of a slow-winding, hard-hitting instrumental. The single walks us through the different stages of hustling that YC takes on throughout the year while making it very clear that he can’t wait for the summer.
