Jimmy Fallon Addresses the Events in Charlottesville

Jimmy Fallon opens The Tonight Show by addressing the events in Charlottesville, Virginia. His heartfelt sincere message was a great way to start off the show. For those of you living under a rock, on Friday, August 11, hundreds of marchers descended on the University of Virginia carrying torches and yelling slogans “white lives matter” and “blood and soil”.

Protests turned violent in Charlottesville on Saturday, as white supremacists clashed with counterdemonstrators and a car ploughed into a crowd of anti-racist and anti-fascist demonstrators.

Many celebrities have taken to their social media platforms to address the situation, but for Jimmy to take a moment on his show which is more of comedy to speak on such a serious thing is awesome.
