Demetrius De’Andre Tate better known as King Tate is a recording artist born in West Helena, Arkansas (aka Helltown) on January 8, 1992. He cites his main influences as the hip hop artists he spent his youth listening to such as Drake & Kevin Gates. Tate began to seriously concentrate his efforts on his music career after friend and fellow rapper heard his lyrics and encouraged him to become a recording artist. King Tate’s lyrics mirror so many images and lifestyle experiences of many artists today.
King Tate has been featured on 50 Artists 50 States Mixtape Vol 2; 50 DJs 50 states Radio; Midwest Mixtapes; Dope Souf Mixtape Ft Kevin Gates, 2Chainz, Shy Glizzy, and more, and Hip Hop Headquarters Mixtapes Volume 1 & 2. In 2016 Tate released his first album titled “Murder 4 Hire” on all digital distributing outlets, and just recently released his mixtape Manslaughter because this is just his second step in the string of murders he’s going to commit on every tape.
