Before their trip to Austin, Kings Of The Beach come back with a new LP. This work becomes the first integral reference of Ciudad Oasis that publishes as it has been getting used to in cassette and vinyl.

This work has become the consolidation of the band. A work in which both the band and record have allied to finish achieving what was being seen: Kings Of The Beach is one of  the revelation bands on the national scene.

Super Awkward, Fucking Awesome has been recorded at the end of April at Gamma Studio by Fran Basilis and Diego García and it has been mastered by Brad Boatright of Audiosege (Portland). The design is the work of Roberta Vázquez.

Kings Of The Beach was born in Vigo in the summer of 2013 with Adrián Rodríguez (guitar, voice), Yago Guirado (bass, vocals) and Samuel Otero (drums).

At the beginning of 2015 they published their first demo tape, ‘Badass’, hitting hard in the Galician scene. A year later, in February of 2016, they published their first EP, ‘Bat Pussy’, obtaining national and international repercussion and causing a good impression in media like Radio 3 or MondoSonoro, among others.

Their sound can be defined as wild, beachy and fast, like a slap in the face. Compared to Together Pangea, The Orwells, or even Fidlar, they can brag about their “fast, sweaty and kick-ass” live shows.

Following their success at the 2016 Monkey Week FestivalKings Of The Beach is seen as one of the young Galician promises. A group to take very much into account within the national music scene in the future.
