Blackout

Three years since their first collaboration, Taiyamo Denku and Cella Dwellas once again make Hip Hop proud and “Blackout” on a Dcypha production –

Whenever a seasoned emcee steps foot behind a microphone, it’s in their blood to “Blackout” on the track. Milwaukee’s Taiyamo Denku knows this mentality all too well and alongside veteran duo Cella Dwellas, does exactly that on this Dcypha produced single. “Blackout” is the second time that Denku and Dwellas have teamed up. Their first outing was for Taiyamo’s “Munsters” single from his 2015 album, “RadiOctave”. Now three years since that iconic match up, the crew returns to melt down the booth and deliver some raw verbiage.

UG kicks things off on a Godzilla like level and cleverly references the “Munsters” track into his verse while paying homage to BCC and Rustee Juxx. Taiyamo comes in next, after delivering the hook, shattering the track with tongue twisting linguistics. Make sure to pay close attention to the hilarious line about L&HH’s Rich Dollarz. Phantasm brings this chilling track to a close with lines like, “Fuck is you telling me? / Iggy’s the new Biggie? / Album of the year? / You’ve got to be kidding me?”

“Blackout” embodies the essence of Hip Hop while paying homage to the days of when you actually had to have sharp skills to be an emcee. Vibe out to the funky sounds of “Blackout” here, premiered exclusively on THQ.
