She was born in Calgary to a Metis/French mother and Irish/Welsh father. A performer since childhood, she trained at the prestigious Randolph Academy of Performing Arts in Toronto. She studied theatre and film acting, dance, and music. During her time there she started writing her own songs. She is now based in Vancouver.
Caitlin’s 2016 single “Way With Me” was co-written with and produced by Jeff Dawson. Dawson produced Daniel Powter’s chart topping and Grammy nominated single “Bad Day”. FACTOR Canada generously awarded her with a grant to support this effort. Recently, she has been collaborating with songwriter/producer Nygel Asselin. They are working on her next single, “Back To Yesterday”, which she will be releasing this year. Other collaborators include Canadian singer/songwriters Taryn Laronge, Nimkish, Mac Ramsay, and former founding member of Mariana’s Trench, Steve Marshall.
