Rising Starstruck singer/songwriter Caroline Kole released her latest single “Missing Each Other” following the exclusive premiere with Billboard who raved the “raw and reflective” track “showcases Kole’s airy vocals alongside seductive electronic beats and thumping rhythms.” The fresh tune, which shares the all too relatable struggle of getting on the same page in the dating game, comes from Kole’s upcoming EP, due out in September.
“Missing Each Other” is the soundtrack to a relationship playing the ‘opposite’ game,” Kole exclusively shared with Billboard. “One person moves right when the other goes left, one person says this when the other hears that…and maybe it’s cool for a while, but eventually you have to ask yourself if it’s sustainable.”
Earlier this month, the “pop powerhouse” (PopDust) debuted the first rack of her forthcoming EP, “Karma,” featuring dance/electronic duo BRKLYN. She premiered the fresh tune with The New Nine, who called Kole’s journey into the genre “pop magic.” This release came hot on the heels of the video for “Always Almost,” from her prior EP Only Slightly Emotional. Described as “electro-pop brilliance” (Atwood Magazine), the pop artist has successfully offered vibrant singles and is not afraid to approach her art in a different way as seen with her “Always Almost” music video. Tackling emotions through her work that most 22-year-old try to ignore, Kole showcases a new side to young artists in the industry by approaching her internal struggle headfirst, and delivering a video to showcase that in a conceptual way.
