Straight out of the Bronx, Connie Diamond is bringing back what has been missing in female rap artist. In current times ,the obsession to be overly sexy is at a all time high, but Connie Diamond brings back the grit, while looking good doing it . Connie has been rapping since the age of 14 and found inspiration from artist such as Remy Ma, Da Brat and Missy Elliot. “I feel like I’m a mixture of all of them. I’m just a new age. I have the look, the swag”.
Connie holds her ground and puts a female spin on rapper, Comethazine’s single ‘Walk’. After posting a clip on Connie’s instagram page of the freestyle, the rapper Comethazine co-signed the remix.
Connie is the unstoppable voice of Bronx, New York – has been named the breakthrough artist to watch right now from Scottie Beam, and has supported part of Azealia Banks’ tour.
Her viral success was in part response to her infamous freestyle of Drake’s “Summer Sixteen” which actually delivers more energy and memorable bars than Drake’s original. Her sound is unapologetic and her bright hair can be spotted across the block. She’s not trying to conform to any mould for what a female should or sound like and her fans ride for her.
Connie will be releasing a full-length project of original songs spring 2019
