More about Hermitude…

Hermitude’s last album Dark Night Sweet Light was a breakout moment for the multi-instrumentalist Australian duo, landing them with a debut at #1 on Australia’s ARIA charts, and top 10 on Billboard’s electronic charts. The duo are now re-entering the limelight, capturing their well-known energy alongside collaborations with songwriters/vocalists to explore a stronger pop sensibility. The duo returned alongside “Bitch Better Have My Money” writer Bibi Bourelly with “Stupid World”, and now have released the follow up “Every Day”, enjoying features in over a dozen of Spotify’s NMF playlists. The album (details TBD, Fall 2020) will also include features from BJ The Chicago Kid and Vic Mensa.

More about MIS…

An electronic music project created by Mexico City-based DJ and producer Camilo Lara. Along with groups like Nortec Collective and Kinky, M.I.S. is part of a growing Mexican electronica movement, encouraging fusions of folk and more traditional music with modern sounds. Lara was brought on as a creative consultant to the animated film Coco. He helped director Lee Unkrich “navigate all the different rhythms from Mexico…to understand the geography of the music.” He also helped arranged and produce many of the songs of the film and assisted composer Michael Giacchino. Under MIS, Lara provided the song “Jálale” to the film’s soundtrack, and makes a cameo as a skeleton DJ in a party scene of the movie.
