Young rising Toronto artist JUGGER releases his sophomore EP ‘BOOGEYMAN,’ firmly staking his claim in coining the term and pioneering the entirety of a new genre he calls Death-Trap. Executively produced by WondaGurl, the EP serves as Jugger’s introductory journey into the deeper realms of the music scene.
But now it’s time for him to focus on himself with a co-signed by Grammy-winning, boss-woman producer WondaGurl who has collaborated on countless tracks for some of the most critically-acclaimed artists including, Lil Uzi Vert, Big Sean, Travis Scott, Jay Z, Drake, SZA, Young Thug, Kanye West and now the release of his second EP ‘BOOGEYMAN,’ out now.
With a deep rooted dark sound, heavy hitting but simplistic one-liners and left of conventional sonic style, his songs come with an energy that leaves listeners invigorated.
Jugger will be performing live in a room of 6,500 fans December 13th at Breakout Festival in Vancouver, BC.
Growing up in the east end of Toronto, Jugger began to dive into the studio with local legend WondaGurl. After immediately clicking, the two decided to team up to release Jugger’s debut single, “ARC’Y BOYZ.” Entirely self-written, recorded, and released, Jugger found most of his inspiration through his childhood spent surviving the streets. He even continued to release music from behind bars, releasing both his second single ‘MONSTERS LIVE AT NIGHT,’ and his debut EP ‘PSYCO’ while locked up.
