Kid 16 is back again with triumphant hustler’s anthem “Makin Moves (Real Life Famous)” featuring iKai and Woah Vicky. Also known as Cyrus Smith, the upcoming Atlanta native talks making money and rising to prominence in the game. iKai adds melodic rhymes and straight talk no chaser over the mid-tempo banger proving her vitality in playful lyricism and swagger. The visual opens with two men playing a game on a front lawn and one of the men throwing money at a significant other who taunts him for gambling the money away. The video goes into Kid 16 and iKai trading verses in various scenes of opulence flexing at the pool, chilling in king and queen-like chairs, and hanging out at a house party.
Previously in July 2018, Smith released the summer romance cut “Why“ featuring pop artist Kallie Rock. The upbeat pop-leaning record showcased a different side of the rapper. With the moniker Kid 16, Smith embodies the spirit of youth staying “16 forever”. Rock provides the perfect compliment to Smith’s verses about the woman in his life. Both show the light nature and yet serious nature of burgeoning teenage relationships set to a 90s style pop and hip-hop.
