Lucy & La Mer is an indie band from Los Angeles, California.
Their debut EP “Little Spoon” charted on College Radio in 2015, followed by 3 coastal tours that year as well as 2 semi-finalist spots in the International Songwriter Contest. They’ve worked closely with women’s rights organizations, including “More Than No” and The Cabaret Con-sensual, as well as with the LGBT group AmBi.
The band has performed at LA Fashion Week, The Rose Bowl Vegan Beer Festival, CMJ Music Marathon, Echo Park Rising, Jam in the Van, SoFar Sounds, Red Gorilla Fest, BalconyTV and recently performed for the Mayor of LA.
They’ve been featured in The Los Angeles Times for their collaboration with The City of LA in their “Rainy Days” music video, as well as mentions in LA Weekly, BuzzBands LA, Pop Wrapped and Free People Music Blog.
Lead singer Lucy LaForge has shared the stage with Moby, Joseph, Cat Power, Jamestown Revival, Chuck Ragan (Hot Water Music), Bayside, and White Buffalo. She is endorsed by Kala Brand Ukuleles and continues to host the “Listen to Lucy” YouTube show, sharing music industry advice and interviews with indie artists.
