Marius comments on the new single, “IDNTWNTU is the first single that came together for this EP, it’s been around for a while – over a year! I really dig what Eryn brought to it with her topline too, she has a very unique style to her that not a lot of singers are doing right now and isn’t a style you hear too much in electronic music either. That’s a big reason why I wanted her for IDNTWNTU. It’s also a song that probably most closely connects this EP with what I was doing on Pelican Fly with my Existence Problem project, the most ‘electronic’ song I’ve put out recently.”

All the way from the remote Norwegian forest he calls home, Marius made an unbelievable amount of global noise throughout 2018 with glowing tastemaker acclaim and over 3 million-plus total independent streams. In 2016, his first Soundcloud upload “CRZY” [feat. Alexandra Rotan] racked up 340K Soundcloud plays as “Guilty” [feat. Maja] followed with 242K plays. Pitchfork described his debut EP, Existence Problem, as “a fresh spin on the Pelican Fly sound,” and Earmilk pegged him as a “Hot up and comer.” Mansionair enlisted him for an Official Remix of “Astronaut” that clocked over 1.6 million Spotify streams in under six months. Earlier this year he inked a publishing deal with Sony ATV and label deal with Casablanca Records. Marius has recently released “Lucky” [feat. KWE$T & G.L.A.M.] & “Breeze” feat. RELLA, to be featured on forthcoming EP.
