Migos makes it hot with a “Stirfry” and “Walk It Talk It” performance. Stir Fry was released on December 20, 2017, as the second single from Migos’ third studio album Culture II (2018). It was written by Quavious Marshall, Kirsnick Ball, Kiari Cephus and Pharrell Williams and produced by the latter. It peaked at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100.
“Stir Fry” is unusual compared to Migos’ traditional Atlanta-style trap sound. In an interview with Beats 1’s Ebro Darden, the group revealed the instrumental for the song was originally intended for an unreleased T.I. song in 2008. The instrumental does not officially credit but draws similarities and influence from “The Champ” by The Mohawks. Quavo stated that “Pharrell said that he was waiting for this moment.”
“Walk it Talk It” was included on the trio’s third studio album, Culture II (2018). After the album’s release, it debuted at number 18 and later peaked at number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 after its release as the third single. The song was produced by frequent collaborators OG Parker and Deko.
