Molly Hammar Returns With New Track “Words”

Molly Hammar, the Swedish chart-topping RnB sensation hailing from Stockholm, releases ‘WORDS’, (rel 03.05.19), the second single from her forthcoming EP and follow up track to hit single ‘No Place Like Me’ featuring Big Narstie.

The addictive, dancefloor-friendly ‘WORDS’ was written with Molly’s childhood friend Benjamin Ingrosso and produced by Hampus Lindvall (Icona Pop/Zara Larsson). The infectious upbeat pop song simply encourages us to talk openly to each other.

Speaking about the track Molly said “’Words’ is a song that I’ve been wanting to release ever since that hot summer’s day in the studio. It’s about a very common subject…how we seldomly dare to open up and be honest with each other, we just don’t talk about what really matters. I hope this song will make people open their hearts and open up to each other too”

A spirit of adventure, independence and self-discovery shines through Molly’s new music as her captivating vocal directly expresses her opinions and emotions. Previous single ‘No Place Like Me’ featuring UK grime legend Big Narstie continues to climb the UK Spotify viral chart, garnered widespread media support across the UK from the likes of BBC 1Xtra, Channel 4, The Line of Best Fit and Complex to name but a few.

Molly Hammar is set to continue winning over UK audiences throughout 2019 with her stunning voice and big personality. The artist spends her time traveling between London, Stockholm and LA, writing new songs both for herself and other artists. She’s co-written and guested on songs with Sick Individuals and SONDR among others.

This year Molly was invited to perform at the Swedish Grammys after an Aretha Franklin tribute she recorded with two friends went viral.

The next few months will see the release of another single and a second EP that finds Molly baring her soul on the dynamic within relationships, her own identity and lost nights out in London.

‘WORDS’ is released through Cosmos Music on May 3rd and the full EP will follow in the autumn.
