Prince Fox makes a climatic return to the music scene with the release of “Fake It”
Born Sam Lassner, the New York born – now LA-based – artist and producer used his songwriting experience to create forward thinking pop music for the dance floor. His Musings EP was released in October 2015 via Casablanca/Republic Records and including a popping mix of ‘90s-tinged deep house songs. Lassner has become one of the go-to future pop producers in the game, collaborating with Academy Award-nominated actress/singer Hailee Steinfeld (on “Fragile”), indie-pop newcomer Quinn XCII (on “Space”), alt-rock band WRENN (on “Positive”) and, most notably, actress/singer Bella Thorne (on “Just Call”) for her re-introduction to music.
Sam Lassner has always been a forward-thinking force in the music industry. Early on in his career, Lassner was tapped to remix tracks such as Florence and The Machine’s “You Got The Love, “Cazzette’s “Blind Heart,” and SNBRN’s “Raindrops (ft. Kerli). The snowballing remix successes led to a record deal with Casablanca/Republic Records.
Lassner has been praised by major tastemakers such as People, Refinery29, NYLON, Cosmopolitan, and Billboard for his pop-meets-dance sonic sensibility. With the growing praise, Lassner has also become a sought-after collaborator for superstars such as millennial icon Bella Thorne (Just Call), Academy Award-nominated actress/singer Hailee Steinfeld (“Fragile”), Youtube Star Tana Mongeau, indie-pop newcomer Quinn XCII (“Space”), and rock band The Griswolds (“Time Alone”).
Lassner has been praised for his innovative future-pop style by NYLON, Cosmopolitan, Billboard, US Weekly, People, Sway In The Morning, Playboy, Nasty Gal, Flaunt, Teen Vogue and more.
