Out of NYC comes the jazz/hip-hop fusion group QNA with “Karoshi”
With cerebral lyrics mixed with intense, dizzying improvisation, reminiscent of the golden age of hard bop, the group arises to a place of their own. On their new single, they flow effortlessly between melodic interludes and straight impromptu jamming. They show their appreciation of both traditional and more modern jazz techniques.
QNA is something like you’ve never heard before. Drawing inspiration from genres such as; Hip-Hop, Jazz, and RnB, they will leave you intrigued and wanting more. “Karoshi” is like a mixture of Herbie Hancock and Jesus.
