Ruby Francis – “All Of The Time” | @RubyFranTweets |

All of the time is open to interpretation, but my initial inspiration came from breaking up with someone. It’s about those moments after a break up when your mind clings on to the hope of them coming back. It’s when you think that maybe there is still a chance, or maybe it was a joke or something! I was listening to Kaytranada’s 99.9% album at the time, which inspired that sort of bouncy and bright upbeat groove which is unusual for a break up song, but I guess this was my way of healing. I wan’t people to feel great and dance when they hear it and to not feel the sadness of the initial inspiration.

All of the Time is the new single from London’s Ruby Francis. It follows the release of her critically acclaimed 2nd EP ‘To Be Fair’ and was written and prodcued by Ruby. Ruby has been added to NMF 4 times for her tracks Fall Asleep, Paranoid, Drip Drop and Twice. She has also landed on Fresh Finds, Fresh Finds Hiptronix, Women of Fresh Finds, Chilled Pop Hits and Lançamentos da Semana in Portugal.

Her debut single Fall Asleep reached number 28 on the UK Spotify Viral Chart. Her EPs have gained a lot of support from BBC Radio. The 4 singles have received plays from DJ Targett, Ace,Twin B & Jamz Supernova on 1xtra, who also named her debut EP in her top 5 EP’s of the week. She has also had support from Tom Robinson on 6Music & Jamie Cullum on Radio 2.

Ruby has also had great support from blogs including, Noisey, Wonderland, Clash and Nylon who named her “The British Answer to The Internet”. Her debut album was signed to Sweet Soul Records in Japan and released in that territory. It has so far sold over 500 physical CDs in Japan after being placed in the famous Tower Records in Tokyo. Ruby was recently selected by BBC Introducing to perform on their stage at Latitude Festival 2018 and was also BBC Introducing in London’s Featured Artist in April. She has just been given a monthly event at private members club The Library in London, where she will not only perform, but curate and present the event, selecting up and coming talent from the worlds of R&B/Neo Soul/Future vibes.
