Brian Thompson, better known by his stage name Stealing Oceans, promotes an overarching theme of positivity and gratefulness. He is not only a role model, but an active mentor for his fans. Let The Kids Play is Stealing Oceans’ debut EP. The five songs show a diverse artist, ranging from tracks about positivity, moving across the country, putting in work in the studio, and even the death of a close friend — all with a cohesive and upbeat sound. All tracks were co-written and produced by L.A.-based songwriting duo Schmarx and Savvy of Roundhill Music.
“All Day” finds Brian riffing about his energy and excitement with producing new tracks, working on his flow and spending time in the studio. The song also features Brian’s incredible live band — Stealing Oceans has been nominated for “Best Live Act” in the Nashville Music Industry Awards for the past three years in a row. Anyone that sees Stealing Oceans ridiculous and energetic live show immediately “gets it.” Their live show features a backflipping bassist, cans of La Croix (Brian doesn’t drink) being poured on the saxophonist’s head and Brian crowdsurfing while spitting on the mic.
