Cypha Den Music’s rhyme assassin Taiyamo Denku teams together with video director Wes Tank and Zero to 100 MMA Gym for the official video for “Stand Back”, produced by Psycho Les of The Beatnuts
Taiyamo Denku continues to dish out verbal fisticuffs in the official video for “Stand Back”, a Psycho Les produced bonus cut from his upcoming “No Industry Standard” album. To match the rugged rawness of the audio, Denku tapped director Wes Tank who did a sensational job at visualizing the high energy of the single. Tank blends salt and peppered scenes with brute sparring matches carried out by the guys of Zero to 100 MMA Gym. These scenes also follow suit with the overall theme of the song. The chorus says it all:
“Stand back, back up don’t come any closer / I set fire to any track I come close to / the theory is you’re doper, doubt that / swag rap / knock you out with Boom Bap / Hip Hop, attack that”
Shot on the northside of Milwaukee, the city becomes the perfect back drop for a cleverly edited flick that meshes two scenes into one. It’s a video better seen than explained. “Stand Back” is the second official release from “No Industry Standard” and follows up last month’s single with Conway The Machine, “Be Who You Are”. The album is riddled with other guest features from the likes of Lil Kim, Saukrates, Chino XL, Royal Flush, J-Hood and Pozlyrix. In house producer Dcypha will carry the bulk of the production, as comes typical with Cypha Den Music releases.
