Last week on March 5th, Urban Magazine honored Dorothy Toran, executive producer of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, as the cover of their 2nd Annual Women’s Issue. The event was held at the luxurious Jaguar | Range Rover showroom in Manhattan, with Mimi Planned Events and Lavender Lemon created a setting that rivals the best upscale events in the entertainment industry.
Curated by Editor-in-Chief Dakari Eli, the issue features women who contribute to the culture from cover to cover in celebration of Women’s History Month. The event raised over $2,500 for the Lupus Foundation of America.
“Dorothy Toran exemplifies true #BlackExcellence not only because of her vast accomplishments in the entertainment industry, but even more so, her work as ambassador of the Lupus Foundation of America.” –BE’N ORIGINAL (Benjamin Moody), publisher of Urban Magazine.
